We are seeking a full-time Grace Kids Pastor who will be responsible for leading our growing ministry for children (approximately 500 +) from birth through 5th grade. We are seeking a high energy leader that is relational, encouraging and highly organized to provide leadership and vision for Grace Kids and their families. Position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to cast vision effectively. Pastors are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities/Duties
- Demonstrate a great love for God and his people and for our children, parents and volunteers
- Build and empower a team of staff and high level volunteers that will impact the next generation
- Leadership Development of the Grace Kids staff to minister to the families and kids of Grace
- Enthusiastically committed to drawing children in the church and the community to Jesus Christ
- Ensure that communication to volunteers and parents is occurring and effective
- Ensure Grace Kids stays relevant to its culture
- Oversee Grace Kids staff development and attend training together as a Grace Kids Staff
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive vision and direction for a vibrant and growing Grace Kids
- Oversee recruiting, training, evaluating, and recognizing of all Grace Kids leaders and volunteers
- Oversee Grace Kids projects to successful completion
- Create and manage annual Ministry Plan and Budget
- Manage policies and practices that ensure the safety of children in our care
- Collaborate with Grace Students to coordinate a seamless transition of children from Grace Kids to Grace Students
- Oversee and build a team for the baptism process, walking a child from accepting Jesus to baptism and the next step in their spiritual growth
- Oversee curriculum process that we are teaching topics our kids need to hear in an interactive, culturally appropriate way that is coordinated between the large group in Kids Worship and classroom activities
- Assist the Director of Family Ministries and work alongside the Family Ministries team to equip and empower every parent to be the primary discipler of each of his or her children.
- Work with other ministries as needed to accomplish churchwide goals
- Storytell in Kids Worship or teach in a classroom as needed
- Lead the development and implementation of the Grace Group model on weekends
Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Biblical studies preferred
- Children’s Ministry experience at a large church, multisite preferred
- Has effectively led children; direct or indirect
- Great relational skills: full of faith, friendly, calm, and professional
- Outstanding communication, organizational and teambuilding skills
