    Financial Policy
    Thank you for choosing East York Veterinary Center. Our primary mission is to deliver the best and most comprehensive veterinary care available for your pet. An important part of the mission is making the cost of optimal care as easy and manageable for our clients as possible by offering several payment options. East York Veterinary Center requires payment in full at the end of your pet's examination and/or at the time of discharge.
    Payment Options:    You can choose from:
        - Cash, Check, Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover Card®
    - Convenient Monthly Payment Plans¹ from CareCredit®
    Allow you to begin treatment today and pay over time
    Available for any treatment amount
    Can be used repeatedly - for your entire family - without having to reapply¹
    For some treatments or hospitalized care, a deposit is required. Healthcare procedures requiring comprehensive care will require a 50% deposit to begin your pet's treatment.


    Additional Policy Information:
    East York Veterinary Center charges $32 for returned checks. All checks will be run through a verification service.  If this service determines that funds are not available to immediately clear the check, East York Veterinary Center will refuse the check and services must be paid for by cash or credit Card.  A fee of $45 may be charged for clients who miss or cancel more than 2 appointments without 24 hours notice. For clients with pet insurance, we are happy to provide you with the necessary documentation to submit a claim to your insurance carrier.
    Boarding Refund Policy:
    Cancellation of reservation in our boarding facility may qualify for a deposit refund.  Please use the following:
        Up to 7 days prior to reservation                Full refund
        7 days – 48 hours prior to reservation        50% refund
        48 hours or less prior to reservation           No refund
